Shomaker and Associates prepared the plan which includes historical
and future water demand analysis, population projections, supply alternatives
and water rights issues in the Tularosa and Salt Basins in Southern New
Mexico. The Plan included municipal and agricultural water use, ground
water and surface water supplies and more than 50 rural water systems and
1200 individual domestic well users. Water quality and additional
source alternatives were evaluated.

water plan for the City of Alamogordo. The plan uses the New Mexico Interstate
Stream Commission Planning Template and includes historical and future
water demand analysis, population projections, supply alternatives and
water rights issues. The Plan also includes conjunctive water uses, including
aquifer storage and recovery, water banking and desalination of brackish
groundwater. |
